Re: Worklog suggestions...
I think signatures should be completely removed from this section.
Some worklogs are 25+ pages long, and in some cases 5 or 6 pages worth of signatures are involved... It makes it extra time consuming to filter through all of the comments, when looking for specific information.

Re: Worklog suggestions...
I think the trick is to just keep the sig's short, sharp & sweet...
Personally I quite like having sigs in the WL threads, as it helps me identify who the user is quickly (i.e. remind me which car belongs to who - I tend to get mixed up every now & then with the users I don't know so well!). Because custom avatars are not allowed, most users use one of 3 avatars (the 'i like mine with no shine', canadian flag, or diamond-mazda logo), meaning the sig is the easiest way (to me, at least) of putting vehicle-to-name/WL...
Just thought I'd put it out there
(Sorry MM92!!)

Re: Worklog suggestions...
I can see that, but people should have their own car's picture in their signature then!
For those of us with 2+ cars, this would be confusing!!!
That's why I have my signature the way it is, with worklogs and wtb/feedback linked directly! It keeps things neat, and easy to find. For example: If I send a PM to somebody, asking for a shipping quote, then they're a click away from my full feedback.

Re: Worklog suggestions...
i completely disagree, have you tried to make a signature picture? obviously not since your trying to get rid of them lol
your only allowed 340x74, that's freaking tiny, there's forums that don't have maximums or have large maximums and it takes like half the page.
i don't know if you allowed a maximum amount but everyone here is very good for this, all of us only have 1 sig picture where as some other forums have tons, like CP for example. it's pretty bad there
so i'm pretty glad this topic is super old and most likely dead, cause i strongly strongly disagree with it and would have even donated more money to the server just to prevent it.
i think most of us here feel the same about this and would have voted against this

Re: Worklog suggestions...
You honestly like that there are 30+ page worklogs containing 10+ pages of signatures? Please notice that this suggestion was 100% specific to this section...
Your signature is even shorter than mine, and it is simple enough to pass over while reading through a worklog. The problem I see, is that while searching through a worklog for a specific project(for example, in MoonEggs' worklogs), I have to filter through page after page of 3-4 posts, most of which are "Woah! That looks cool!" + signatures far longer than the post preceding it.
It'd be nice if everyone had simple, concise signatures... however, in light of that not being the case, I felt this was a worthy suggestion, for this section specifically. Elsewhere, it's far less bothersome, and would cause very little, if any stress for members.
Edit: Re-reading your response, I believe you misunderstood my intentions... The "suggestion" had nothing to do with images in signatures. That was a post made in response to Ethan's about individual signatures.
