Flywheel Resurfacing
Ok, I took my flywheel offof my car while doing the 2.5 swap, and im wondering how far I can cut it down, first of all to lighten it, and second of all to clean it from heat cracks and what not...Does anyone know the most you can cut it, or is there a way that whoever cuts it knows how far, it's $36 to get it cut, and $47 for a new one, but i'd have to wait for the new one in the mail, and it wouldn't be any lighter...Any idea?

You don't want to take material off the face, because the clutch sets on top of it. You take it down too much, and your clutch engagement points will be screwed up. Just get your stock one resurfaced, and make sure they take down the mounting posts an equivilent amount too to make sure your pressure plate is clamping down all the way.
