[FS] 93 Probe GT KLZE - Fidanza - SPEC - FD's - Fuzion - SS

Post by Mazda_Power »

It's time for me to sell my pride and joy. I got it for a graduation present from High School in '02. I've had a lot of fun times in that car and will be sad to see it go, but I have to move on.

Here's the down and dirty facts:
1993 Ford Probe GT
  • Electric Current Red -Code GH I believe-
  • 5-Speed
  • Black Cloth Interior
  • Power Windows
  • Power Locks
  • Power - Heated Mirrors
  • Keyless Entry (I have a Ford and Mazda Fob)
  • Power Driver's Seat
  • Courtesy Lighting (Keylocks Light up, as does the interior lights when button is pressed)
  • Theater Lighting (dimming instead of shutting off aburptly)
  • Power Antenna
  • Power Moonroof (RUST FREE)
  • Rear Defroster
  • Fog Lights
  • Rear Wiper
  • Rear Washer Squirter
  • Intermitant Wipers
  • Cruise Control

Maintainance
  • Struts Replaced Recently Before I bought it. Still in EXCELLENT SHAPE.
  • Endlinks Replaced (7K Miles on them)
  • Axles Replaced @ 135K
  • Timing Belt Installed with new motor @ 157K
  • Distributor Replaced with Updated Ignitor @ 132K

and now for the mods list!
  • Fuzion ZRi 245/45R16 Tires (Roughly 15K on them, still in great shape)
  • 1993 Mazda RX-7 Wheels (13.8 lbs, bought from Jeff Jeske this year)
  • Brembo Rotors
  • Seven Saterdays Short Shifter
  • Porterfield RS-4 Brake Pads (Roughly 15K also)
  • New Endlinks (5K)
  • Spec Stage 2/4 Hybrid (7K Miles)
  • Fidanza 9 lb aluminum flywheel (7K miles)
  • REAL cold air intake made with Prelude system
  • Outlaw Phenolic Spacers
  • KL-ZE REBUILT to approximately 10.2:1 Mazda OEM parts used (hundreds of pictures available of the rebuild) 7K on the motor. It was broken in on semi-synthetic oil for 500 miles and has been on Mobil 1 Synthetic ever since.
  • SS Headers (NO LEAKS)
  • TC Automotive Polished Crank
  • EGR System Completely Eliminated
  • USDM Throttlebody adapted to run with JDM Engine (not a "mod" but good to know!)
  • NGK Spark Plug Wires
  • ZE/KL-31 EPROM Chip Installed (Fuel-Timing Curves Adjusted, VRIS Points Moved, Higher Fuel Cut)
  • JE50 VAF
  • Painted - Polished IM
  • Painted Valve Cover
  • 96+ Taillights
  • Clear Corners
  • 2.5" Collector Back Exhaust (NO CAT)
  • Pioneer CD Receiver
  • Cerwin Vega 6.5" Speakers
  • VRIS Lights
  • Poly Motor Mounts (front and rear)
  • Amsoil Synthetic Trans Fluid Flushed and Filled with Mobil 1 Synthetic Trans Fluid

Car currently has 164K on it, but doesn't show it. I drove home and back my first two years at college on the weekends. It's 230 miles one way. The seats aren't torn or anything like that. They hardly show wear at all. Everything on the car works. Every little light on the switches. Every bar on the defroster works. The engine rebuild was done by me. I am going to school for Automotive Engineering and am working on my fourth year. I have a lot of experience and have checked and double checked everything. It is a solid motor. The A/C is connected back up (a lot of ZE's go in without AC, but I decided to do it) BUT it doesn't work. I'm not sure if the clutch isn't engauging or what. The PS pump (appx. 70K is leaking from the fittings). Sounds like the passenger Ball Joint will need replacing sooner or later. There is a little bit of rust on the hatch and the ground effect piece from the driver's side fender is off (I have it though). Part of the trim on the passenger's side taillight is missing (about the size of a quarter). There is also a dent/crease in the bumper cover which prevents it from fitting perfectly.

If I had to guess I'd say the car is somewhere in the 180-190 whp area. I will dyno soon to be sure.

Since I have access to a car hauler I can deliver for extra. PM me and we'll talk about it.

I am asking $3800 as it sits.

I just really need the money for my RX-7 to buy a front clip and get some paint.

I HAVE THOUSANDS IN RECEIPTS!

Yep, it's still for sale. As far as shipping goes I have a friend who can get the car out to you for about $1000, but that's a lot. You'd be better off getting it yourself.
