Finally the turbo is in and running for four days now. Hoping to get it tuned and dyno on thursday this week. Haven't reached full boost yet because I don't want to blow it. Just got the SAFC 2 hooked up. I know that people say it doesn't work and some say it does so I guess theres only one way to find out. I'll get pix up soon as I can get the digital cam and also numbers. The ZE feels alot stronger in the low end now too. Can't wait to feel 6psi :twisted: :twisted: :twisted: :twisted: :D

I'm just begining to source some parts for a turbo project. You mind posting a list of what you have? I just want to go 5-6 psi on a stock ZE.
ASome pics would be nice too. I'm going to need some ideas on the piping.

Steve, have you considered a Supercharger instead? Probably half the price if you're only looking to go 6-7 psi. Spinkx79 and I should be doing ours this spring. "Adlorin" from PT can provide good info on the that. Try http://www.mrspeed.biz
This is a caption from his site;
Our current line of super-charger systems are a bolt on application for the V6 versions of Ford Probe (93-97), Mazda 626 (93-02), MX-6 (93-97), & MX-3 (92+)!

John, are you putting your own kit together? Do you have a shopping list? I'm going to do something, I've had the bottle sitting in the garage for two months. Hell, it took me 6 months to getting around to the headers. I would like to see a list for a DIY supercharger.

It's on that site Steve. It should be ready for the MX3 this winter, although I'll be driving down (long drive but worth it) and getting it installed there. Like that site says, it's a complete kit with only a very few items for you to get yourself. These are DIY.

Sorry for the jack 7psi

sorry didn't have a chance to come back here to get some pics but the ze blew at 2psi making 180whp. Opened it up yesterday and cyclinders 2 and 5 had the some cracked pistons. Yeah I monted the turbo right up front and had to moved the radiator. I'll get the pixs up soon too. Now just running a regular DE with the turbo on it with about 5psi.
