custome cold air intake

I have a home depot CAI but I was thinking of getting my buddy who has a muffler shop to make me a custom intake with 3 inch mandrill bent exhust pipe he says it would be to heavy <BR>Any thoughts?<P>------------------<BR>Clear White 2.5L GSR

This is what I did. I bought the aerospeed front mount filter and did the intake with plastics (pbc) pipes. It works fine.

when you used the pvc pipes where did you run them to? The botom left or right <P>for the people with the v6 the (sport compact car magzine) lists the weapon*R <BR>new dragon style intakes as being compatable.
