Sub placement?

Me and my friend built a custom box for the hatch of my car, should I have my subs facing up towards the window or back towards the back of the car? Their two ten inch woofers.

Up, and place the subs in the rear of the hatch for the best bass.

it dosen't matter which way you place them bass notes are omidirectional unlike tweeters which are highly directional which everway looks better to you

well, you will notice a difference in a sealed box. Ususally subs facing back or up = most bass and subs facing forward towards you is less bass but somehwat 'cleaner' ..ported boxes make almost no difference.
