Cam Swaping

Post by shawno »

my buddy just bought a 92 RS precidia i belive that its the DOHC but i havent seen it yet.
I was wondering what the cams were in it and if they were interchangeable with the V6 at all the kl-01 cams into a 4 cyl.
would it work at all do not a chance, and would there be and incease in power.

No V6 Cams would not work at all. Completely different.

Cams are not interchangeable cuz '92 RS is 1.6L SOHC in-line 4cyl engine and the 1.8L V6 DOHC has two pair of cams - one pair per bank of 3 cylinders. 99.99% different engines.
