Gasket Sealant

I bought this product based on the website description

But now i am not so sure if i can use this as a gasket maker type of sealant - can anyone please confirm if i can use this as a gasket sealant or is it just a general purpose sealant that is used in headlights, door panels etc.... Thank you.

That is a decent all purpose gasket sealant. You wouldnt use it for high temperature situations (like exaust manifold gaskets for example). But would work fine for normal temp applications.. Thermostat housing gasket, valve cover gasket, intake gasket etc...
