Track meet with Opel Sport Club and the GTI Club.

In this first movie I hunt a Kadett GSi. He smokes a bit...

Movie from the old meet was removed. Two new movies, high quality (640x480 30fps), added from the last meet (2005-09-25).

I haven't got any good mounting point for my new camera yet, so I placed it in the head rest. Not that good view, but well... :D

Here's how the track looks like:

My Toyo T1-R tires are almost worn out now after five track meets. Next year I will use my new Bridgestone RE540S track tires instead.

I also need new brake pads. Think I'll go for Hawk HP Plus front and stay with Ferodo Premier at the rear.

Took a bit to download, but it was awesome. I love track videos. Reminds me of my recent first trip to the track. Wish I had an roll cage and camera mount, they wouldn't let passangers ride with a loose camera

I'm glaad that you guys like it. :)
Until next season I will get a real camera mount. Maybe I can mount it on the rear strut bar and go for full zoom on the camera.

Sounded like you didn't keep it up in the power-curve on a couple of the turns in the first moving. And In the 2nd you started downshifting to aid your lack of brakeing power.

Good runs. I hope I can get some good tires on and get my car going around a track.

Nah, my tires are totaly worn out now, so I couldn't go 100% in the curves. But next year I will use my racing tires instead. :)
The brakepads are also worn out. Gonna buy new Hawk HP Plus for next season.

I can recommend Porterfield R4-S pads aswell, or even a more aggresive pad from the same company.

I used to use EBC Greenstuff, and these are worlds better.

I know Luc St.Pierre uses them in Auto-X too.

Hhaa, good stuff Joseph.

Sounds like something I should try to achieve.
