all it does is fool your ECU into thinking that the air you are getting into your motor is colder so the ECU sends more fuel, causing you to burn richer.
Those resistors cost about 25 cents for 10 of them

those crappy a-- things have been up on ebay for who knows how long. my cousin, like the dumbazz that he is, didn't listen to me...he bought one for his m3... after "installing" the "upgrade," the car didn't even last ten minutes without overheating. it sucked big time.

Friend of mine bought that for his probe. Car ran like crap after he put it on. Big waste of time and cash.
