Just replaced radiator... Still losing coolant!!! HELP!!!
Just replaced radiator... Still losing coolant!!! HELP!!!
I just replaced my radiator monday. Ran my car all over the place yesterday no problem. Didn't check the coolant that day. Today ZERO COOLANT!!! Before I start tearing into things again... let me verify with anybody out there.... could it be the Thermostat or what? Please help!!!

The thermo regulates how much coolant is flowing I believe.
Check your inlet and outlet hoses for the radiator and make sure they are on tight and they have no cracks. Also check your water pump.
Also Make sure your coolant levels are up where they need to be. Since you just replaced the radiator it may not have been filled up all the way, especially if you put coolant back in while the car was off. Even though it may fill to the top once you start driving the radiator is going to suck that coolant up. Try filling the resavoir again and see if it is empty again after driving. If the car isn't overheating while driving then you have coolant in there, just not enough to see it in the resavoir. It could take several bottles of coolant to fill her back up.

yep just put more in...fill the overflow tank above the full mark because it will suck some of that into the radiator and engine. since you just replaced the radiator, the engine and radiator would have been empty. when you filled the radiator and ran the car some of the coolant was used to fill up the engine, taking it from the radiator (where you are checking the level). good luck...if this doesn't fix it you probably have major problems.

Thanks Guys!!! Went out of town for the weekend ran the car with the AC and everything went fine. Coolant was normal and my anxiety is gone! Now I have to take the couple of jugs of coolant out of my car and put them somewhere. Again thanks for your input to my post! Your help is greatly appreciated!
