Im so happy i got another MX-3. After i burnt the ATX out of my 94 RS i found a 95 RS MTX (yes with a MTX) same DOHC motor, purple, a brand new clutch for me to learn how to drive a standard on, curise control, and automatic windows for only $450. i thought it would turn out to be piece crap but it turned out i had all the parts i needed to fix it on my old one. i paid the guy the money and i had to tow the thing home cause it had no front bumper but hey, thats what parts cars are for. swaped my muffler and body parts so now i have a purple/primer grey/green MX-3. Now all i need is a GSR BPT...

Purple? is it a rasberry one? was is one of the limited edition models? i hope not, cuz it'd suck to use one of those as a parts car.

No its not the special edition. They were only made in 93 and it was a GS. His is a 95 and its an RS. Plus its just purple, check out the color chart on the main page.

Good Deal!

Hi not to jump on your thread but I bought my 95 MX-3 RS early last year for $100.00!!! The guy that sold it to me said he had it to the local Mazda dealer and they gave him a laundry list of things that needed fixed. The total with labor was close to $2500.00. He had his buddy put a new clutch in it less the throw out bearing because the supplier didn't have one. It only has 78k on it and I am the third owner. The hood has a big dog hip dent in it so I ordered a G-Tec Scorpion hood from G Force Customizing. I also got a Supra Style Wing from Wing West. The interior is in fair condition, but the plans are for racing seats, new rugging and headliner. Engine is solid and I just did the rear brakes complete with new lines. The fronts will be completely redone with new parts as well. I will then need a complete exhaust including the cat and the hydrolic clutch pump and resivor assembly. The car is black on black on black but I have not decided what color to paint it yet and the interior will be black and red. I figure by the time I am done rebuilding this with my Dad's help as a father/daughter project I will invest a total of $3000.00 in my first car. Not to bad and much cooler than my sister's Buick Century as a first car!
