You feel any difference moving to the 2.25 exhaust?

upgrades work together, if you were to polish heads too I would see as much as 25hp with intake/exhaust/port and polish

:?: Does it sound anything like the original exhaust note...? Describe it, & possibly a sound-byte...?

Which engine do you have...? Stock 1.8 or a 2.5 KL (DE or ZE)...?

:?

make sure you read the backpressure FAQ.

What engine are you running. a stock K8 or 4 cyl is services just fine by our stock 1 3/4" pipe (AFAIR). The muffler is the restrictor. I put on an aftermarket one which has a "silencer" in it, and I actually lose power if I pull out the "silencer". Granted at high speeds I gain a bit, but at the low end I lose power without it (and I gain with it in over stock).

So unless you are turboing or going to a KLZE/DE engine, there is no real point to go to 2.25" piping.

with intake and just that exhaust i'd be surpised if you got over 5whp with a K8
