I need to know how to get to the passenger motor. I tried to fix mine and now all it does is click when the door is shut so i want to disconnect the motor completly or maybe even cut a wire to stop it. Does anyone know the easiest way to get to the motor or if there is a wire under the dash or something i can cut to disable the motor?

Have you checked the fuse box?

The quickest way to fix the annoying wire that pops out???

ok, 1st take off part of the molding where the belt comes back to. Cut the wire. Take 2 bolts, bolt in the seatbelt part permantly to the car, then put the molding back on.

Now, open both doors, take the seatbelt fuse out, and then you have manual seatbelts.

Hey, it gets you through inspection, and I have tried stoping very quick and it stays put. Beats trying to fix the whole thing or getting the run around from the Mazda dealerships that say it was already fixed once. (well if it was fixed once...they didnt do a good job then huh lol)

You can't let the dealers walk all over you.
1. Print out the Recall Info on the MX-3.com main page.
2. Show it to the dealer
3. If they still give you a hard time, borrow their phone and call MazdaUSA customer support (have your VIN ready)
4. Explain the problem, then, politly hand the phone to the dealer and smile as he gets the a-- chewing of a lifetime. :D
5. Schedule an appointment to have your belts replace FOR FREE!

OR

I have a BRAND NEW set that I'll sell for $60 + shipping.
