Steering Rack

I was going through the shop manual, and something doesnt seem to add up.
I knew that the k8 was about a half turn shorter lock-to-lock, but none of the other specs are different on page n-004.
Will changing the rack result in:
A) the same turning circle, with 'quicker' steering,
B) a larger turning circle, same steering?
I'm hoping for A, but from the specs in the shop manual it looks like B.
