sorry for not searching but i am in a hurry is the 92 4 cyclinder distributer the same as the 94 4 cylinder?
95 Eagle Talon Tsi - New Toy
92 Mazda MX-3 RS - probably selling
86 Mazda Rx-7 - motor blew going 145
86 1/2 Toyota Supra - pissed me off sold it
91 Taurus... SHO - died

No they are not the same. In late '93 Mazda changed over to a internal coil design.

hmmm the part numbers were the same when I asked the guy at autozone.

I got a 92 SOHC 1.6L distributor for ya if you want it.

I checked http://www.car-parts.com and the cheapest one they had there is $50USD

So if you want it, you can have it for $50USD shipped

(tip-> http://www.car-parts.com also lists compatible cars that this distributor will work with, like a 1995 kia sephia......)
