When I turned the car on last night it started and immediately it reved all the way like full throttle and then i turned it off. Any ideas i looked at the throttle body and its not closed all the way. I closed and the car stopped doing it. When i tried to put my foot on the pedal, it felt like it was already down as far as it could go as soon as my foot touched it it reved up again and the throttle body was back to the partly open position. Any ideas whats going on.

could be your tb cable is worn and sticking from the inside of its sheath... or it could have melted on the engine and warped which happened to a friend of mine.

or could just be the adjustment on the tb and its sticking at a certain point.
Also the spring can wear. Best idea, take it off clean it, check the spring, your throttle cable, then put it all back on hook it up right and readjust the throttle cable to make sure its not sticking.
