Messed around with pulling off my headlights for a bit but got stuck with one remaining bolt/fastener holding it in that I can't see or feel. It's on the bottom outside and I can't figure out what's holding it in still. Suggestions?

I think your talking about the one that you get to by taking off the front indicator lights. It would be easiest to take off the bumper though, espically when you pull the headlights from the car.

Best idea - only takes 5 minutes and then the headlight is easy to get at.

I thought it might help to remove the bumper, I just didn't have much time and wanted to compare it against the projectors real quicklike. Thanks for the heads up!

In other news, I replaced my bent lower control arm today. When I was disconnecting the stabilizer bar, though, I noticed it's warped too. So back to the junkyard, the install looks a lot more of a PITA than the manual makes it out to be. While I've got that off, gonna put in a new end link too, seems my joints are worn. Hehe, once I got everything put back together, I eyeballed my alignment before taking it in. Toe-in is a lot better, but holy off-camber Batman

Noob stupid question: How do I take the front bumper off??

Yours may not be exactly the same as mine as I've got the fog lights but:
Tools -
10mm open end / ring spanner
philips head screwdriver
little flat blade screwdriver

- remove front indicator / marker lights (1 screw in each) Take the bulbs right out so the bumper will come off later.
- remove philips screws in tyre well (one each side)
- lie under the front of the bumper and look up. There are 3 of those push in plug things to remove. You know the ones where you prise the centre our with a little screwdriver. They push up through the bumper into the re-bar.
- open engine bay
- there are 2 brackets from the bumper to the frame in front of the radiator, remove the 10mm bolts
- right in the inside corner of the headlights there are 2 more 10mm nuts. These are the hardest to get to. Do these 2 LAST - its easiest (and first when your putting it back on).

*remove the philips head screws holding the bottom of the fog light bracket to the bumper.

Thats it for mine but you may have 2 more philips heads sorta near where you pulled the ones out in the wheel well. Mine doesn't have those 2 because the fog light brackets strengthen that area.

All that probably sounds like more work than it really is! It only takes about as long as it did to write this post!

If your just taking off the headlight, you don't have to take off anything. All you need is a socket wrench, 10mm socket, and long extension. Just lift the headlight an inch up, and slide the socket wrench under it and it will reach the last bolt with ease.
