MX-3s more plentiful in Canada?

Hello...I've been searching for an MX-3 ('93 - '95) for a couple months now, and here in the U.S., I've searched a 300 mile radius of my area, and have found nothing, but I've been hearing you Canadians talking about dealerships up there selling loads of MX-3s (ok, exaggeration). So my question is: did Mazda only sell like, 4 MX-3s in the U.S. or something?

Yes, AFAIK, more MX-3's were sold in Canada.
