I need to size injectors for a BP-T swap.
I am building a Turbo BP this fall/winter and I'm trying to get all my info now. I'd like to make 300 whp out of it. I know this sounds lofty, but I dynoed a Civic with 490 whp @ 15 psi on Saterday. So I think it's certainly possible. I'm going to be building the entire motor from scratch. I'll be using a 9.0:1 or less compression piston, forged internals. Likely a non-ported head with a new valvetrain and cams. I will be using MegaSquirt to tune it. The Honda that just made 490 whp had 1000cc injectors and a Garrett GT35R turbo. I'd like to run a T3/T04E .60/.70. Something around there. I haven't picked any particular model yet. I thought I'd use the Miata turbo pipe that SS Autochrome sells. The only problem is that it comes with a flange for a 35mm wastegate, which is poorly placed and pretty small. Like I said I want to make some horsepower, put not wrap my boost gauge around. I'd probably run no more than 20 psi ever... What would you recommend for injectors?
