Well fellas the ze is in and the LSd tranny from a Lantis bolted up well axels fit with no problem the only thing now is that the radiator or the hose is leaking antifreeze really badly. My radiator fan is not working properly, it comes on and goes off. I was wondering does any body know where i can get aftermarket performance fans that are smaller than the stock ones.

Don't know if you want smaller fans. ZE is going to get pretty warm in there and max cooling effectiveness is necessary. Is your rad and fans pooched or not working because of something missed in your install. I'd check and double check all connections. Driver side must have worked when you were setting up your TPS, because the fan switching on and off is the sweet spot in the setting of the TPS procedure. If it is in fact pooched, may I suggest another MX rad and fans from a GS automatic. Search earlier posts regarding this particular subject (within the last month I believe).
As a side bar. Mazda already new that they were sandwiching a large engine into a small space with the GS and in keeping with that they made efforts to ensure that cooling was addressed. It's a fairly large cooling area with large fans along with a thermostat that opens earlier than the RS. Improving upon what Mazda already done would be quite expensive IMO. A Re-cored/overhauled rad and overhauled/repaired fans may be the most cooling and cost effective IMO. Hope this helps.

How much did this cost you?
This might be more practical then a Phantom Grip LSD

The tranny cost me 600.00 plus 150.00 shipping price. I got it from nadauto.com I have a question about the axels and bolting to the block that 3 stud thing on the passenger side axel. did any body have trouble with allowing it to fit to the block of the ze.

that's your jackshaft or halfshaft whatever you feel like calling it. Basically it stops up and down motion of the axle. I hate trying to re-attach this thing AFTER the motor is in the car, it's tight under there. I'm really interested in hearing more about this tranny install and if you had a problem fitting the halfshaft how you went about fixing it.

no the axles, tranny and block (as long as its k series v6) will all bolt up together. the axles you should be using are mx3 axles into the lantis v6 tranny/lsd, which is bolted to the ZE.

There was one problem, the halfshaft or jackshaft thingie was off by about less than a centimeter i hit it down with a hammer, then forced it to fit the 3 stud spot. I got it in and all was fine, but now when i actually drove the car there is a vibration coming from that side which is probly the axel putting stress on the pinion, cause its bent. So I probly have to get a shaft made that will fit it the way it is suppose to. Unless any body else has any ideas on what the vibration could be. I can say one thing both tires spin when i PEEL wheels. Right now i am working out the bugs of the Leaking hoses around the thermostat housing and Tommorrow I have to take it to my exhaust guy, because i am running open headers.

We have stock fans for sale in the "For Sale Forum" under the sticky at the top of the page. Good job on the LSD. I'm doing a rebuild using a MS Protoge LSD right now.
