MX-3.com

I have purchased some lights for the interior of my MX-3 and want to wire them up so they come on when I open the door.
Can anyone tell me where is the best place to pick up the wire and what colour it is.
I suppose I could pick it up from the existing lights but that would mean running the wire down the front struts.
Can anyone help?
