When it says KL01

Post by jbruynson »

I've been reading everything on this site for quite a few months now, well before I bought my mx-3, but I got a question. Everywhere I read the KL01 code seems related to a KLDE?

Looking around in my engine bay, not really knowing much, on this little curvy black rod thing about 20-30 cm or so, by all the spark plug wires, it says kl01 on it. I just bought this car not that long ago and don't know too much about it.

But is this stamped on all stock v6 cars?

KL01 is stamped all over the damm place on it......

and all over the electric's too....

get a mirror and a tourch and a rag and look above and just
behind the power steering pump and you will find a casting number
and a second casting of either K8 or KL in the side of the block...
