Trying to change the Thermostat on a 92 MX3 v6. Can't locate it. Could someone direct to it location

Page E2-2 of '92 V6 Manual:
As you face the engine, follow lower rad hose on right side up to metal pipe. Metal pipe leads/attached to thermostat housing just above starter and just before throttle body. Thermostat is seated/configured sideways/horizontal and not the traditional verticle config. May/should remove disty cap and rotor for better access. Hope this helps.
