Stock Suspension Question...

Hey guys, i just re-insured my vehicle for spring/summer and when i tried to drive it 20 minutes after i insured it, i heard a huge crack. i get out and check out my front left tire and discover that my coil spring is broken. I looked up for info on the net and found out that they had a recall for the front springs because salt corrodes them easily and they break. Now i have to search for a replacement. I'm not going to go buy new springs/struts right not as i dont have the money. My question is:
Is there a difference between the years in Mx-3's and the model/engine type for suspension?
eg. Does the 1993 1.6L v4 have the same front spring as the 1993 1.8L v6??
I need to know because no junkyard in my area has a 1993 v6 GS, which i own. i am wondering if i can purchase the v4 front spring and use it. (This will be a temporary solution, probably 1 month, 3 months at most, I am getting a friends struts and coilovers, and no i cant get them right away)

If anyone can help me out that would be awesome, thanks in advance.
Nick
