Mine just died at 251000 km. Now the replacement is doing the same thing, RPMS cutting out at highway speeds every 10 minutes or so. Im going to give that permanent disty fix a shot.

270,000km. First on K8 and now on ZE and still going strong. Mind you I always cleaned it up a couple times of years.

My rebuilt disty has been going strong for 2 years. :P Maybe the west coast has a different rebuild house than the east coast?

new to the site here, but my 92 GS was having the same issues. the engine would just shut off mid-drive. every once in a while, it'll catch itself and rev up again, but mostly i have to coast and try to restart it. i just had the distributor replaced with new plugs and wires, so i didn't think that was it. any suggestions??
