why would you want 9" width rims on the rear, on a fwd car?

Hard to believe they'd fit. The offset would have to be so large that it would jam the tire against the fender edge, assuming you could even get the wheel on?

it would be overkill even if you managed to get it on there.

um... no man...
wider tires go on the FRONT of the car, not on the back. that will hella slow you down! and i think the widest i've seen are 8.5" tires on our cars. but dude no, dont put em on the rear LOL

if you're gonna put wide rims on, at least do it in both back and front, nothing is stupider then putting wide tires where they are useless just to look like you have a rear wheel drive car (which i don't think are all that great anyways). i don't know for sure what will fit on our cars, but from everything i've heard, 9" will be way too big.

oh and just a tip. only one question mark is needed, not 3. despite common belief, adding extras only makes the statement look stupider.

Reason being I cant get hold of my alloys in the normal 7.5 width. As no company in the US will ship just two alloys to me. However one company would ship the 9" virsion.

Why do I want only two alloys? My other two got trashed when I hit the central reservation at 80mph. Oopsy! dam the black ice. Yes I also thought 9" would be quite a disadvantage. But hey its my car and my choice.

Thanks for the wise a-- coments but they arnt really what I need right now. :D
