Where do I get aftermarket pistons and cams for the ze? Are the heads on the ze and de the same except for the pistons?

cyborg zero is good for rods and pistons, mike seili on probe talk makes nice cams and teh ZE heads have bigger intake ports than DE heads

Any of the aftermarket cam and piston companies will make you what ever you want.

I dont want to steal this thread but what are the parts on the ZE that arent good for a turbo?
I think someone said camshaft. Dont remember.
Anyone know?

the higher compression pistons and if your going for big power the connecting rods

I'd replace the rods before the pistons. The pistons would still be good to round 7 pounds of boost. But out of the three engines I've pulled parts from to complete my rebuild, there were three bent rods. The rods suck a--. Wish I had the money for some better than stock rods while I've already got it torn apart. :cry:

I wouldn't hesitate to run 6-7lbs of boost on a stock ZE. Above that I'd agree with lakersfan, the rods will be first to go.
