headlight removal/insertion
headlight removal/insertion
why do i feel like i need a degree in rocket science and quantum physics just to be able to remove and replace my headlights... my car did have a minor accident along the fender, so is this why it's so hard for me to put in my headlight? or does everyone have this problem?... what's the trick to putting these suckers in?

NO trick, four bolts and viola. Two on the top, one if front of the radiator and one behind the front blinker assembly. If your headlights are Euro-spec, you need to take off your bumper to install/remove them.
Re: headlight removal/insertion
My lights are euro-spec (glass), and I removed them without removing the bumper.
It`s tight though.

doing that might brake the plastic sides, under the glass. I had to loosen the bumper as I dont wanna mess up my EXPENSIVE glass headlights.

Re: headlight removal/insertion
woh woh woh, euro-spec, huh? are there different types of headights for our cars, and if so, how do i know which ones mine are... oh yea, and i removed all the bolts and it's not just "viola" for me... next time i'll just have to disassemble my whole car completely, and then rebuild my car around my headlights, no biggie... those crazy japanese engineers are nuts...

Re: headlight removal/insertion
You shouldn't have had to. I've taken mine off multiple times. You pull the turn signal markers and stick a socket extension in that hole to get the last socket.Originally posted by Gro Harlem:

lakersfan... yea i know, i did that... but still, it seems way too hard to pull out the headlight, i'm afraid if i rip it out it'll break those black brackets...
