P21S Gel Wheel Cleaner-Anyone used this?

P21S is the only wheel cleaner I've found that would seem effective but gentle on the wheel finish. http://www.iauto.co.uk/pages/alloy_wheel.htm However, it is damned expensive. Anyone ever used the product??

Picked up a freebie set of very serviceable 1992 lightweight Mazda 929 factory alloys to put on my 90 MX-6 but they need serious cleaning. They appear to be in good shape overall with a few nicks and a little minor curb rash but are filthy with a hardened coat of grime and brake dust. I don't want to use any of the highly acidic wheel cleaners so as to avoid damaging any metal where the clearcoat is missing. The wheels are a fairly intricate design called triple-diamond-spoke so have many nooks & crannies that make applying "good ole elbow grease" a daunting project. Besides, I've tried that method on one wheel and the results were mixed at best.Thanks for any info...
