Anybody here done custom taillights?

This forum is for discussion of topics relating to MX-3 lighting such as Headlights, Tail lights, Accessory Lights, Interior Lights, Etc. For example, Rear Euro Altezza Style Tail lights, Headlight units, LED's, HID's, Bulbs, Interior lights, Neons, Strobes, Auxillary Lights/Fogs or anything filament and gas discharge related.
Also anything dealing with the elctrical system.

Anybody here done custom taillights?

More specifically, has anyone put taillights from a different make and model of car on their MX3. The reason I'm asking is this, I'm dead set on putting a set of Acura RSX taillights on my MX3. I've done a lot of bodywork, but have never attempted anything like this before. Any thoughts or feedback would be appreciated.

Supra lights have been done. Other than that i've never seen any true custom setups. Personally i dont like the RSX lights but its all about personal taste. Good luck on your swap and post pics of the results.

hmm mazda 6 tails on an mx3 would look sick. Good luck on the swap, i hope your good with a mig welder and metal fabrication.
