Hey guys, I'm pretty sure there's no aftermarket headlights for our car, right? I came across the business card for a VP at Toucan the other day and I'm going to get in contact with him about possibly making some projectors or something with a halo. What do you want to be made? Let me know so I can tell him.

I'd like to see it cleaned up a bit though the clips are rather unsightly. but the option to take off the cover is pimp so we can paint em to match our car

Those would be perfect but without the tact's surrounding the head light.

u know if it would be a direct bolt in....my neighor bought a set of projectors for his corrola & they had to be spliced in....what a pain in the azz

There was a whole thread in the Lighting forum on Projector Headlights and what people wanted in them. You might want to check that out, that should give you a lot of ideas. It's rather long though.

That car is actually the MG TF and it has a headlight protector over it.
That car sure looks like it has a very similar headlamp assembly as ours.

Here's another idea for people to try out.

Get a spare set of MX-3 headlights. Then, try and find a damaged or cheap pair of projector lights that you like that are similar in shape to ours.

Once you have both, you can cut out the assembly in the projector lights and mold it into the MX-3 lights. It's not easy, but not hard either. Just time consuming. A beginner can do it if they take their time and research techniques a bit before.

This would be an ideal way to do it since you would have mounting plates for the projector already there for correct aiming and such.

Some suggestions for this would be a Ford Focus headlight, a Honda Civic, any BMW with projectors, VW Golf or Jetta.

There are many cars overseas that would have possible donor headlights too, but there's plenty to chose from in North America.

The above mentioned are relatively easy to find and cheap to buy too sometimes. eBay has them popping up a lot, their respective message forums would have people selling them a lot too.

This would of course be a little more expensive intially, but in the long run you would have less problems and more potential for newer projectors to be swapped in with ease.
