What was I thinking, trading my hatch garmish for Mx3man83's gs spoiler. I was totally ripping him off. I sent him my hatch garmish in December 2003, you know, not too long ago. I think I've been overreacting, thinking he wouldn't send me his GS spoiler.

He's a really nice guy, he would answer my emails within a couple weeks time. Would tell me he'll send it when he felt like it. I guess he's been busy these past 8 months. I know if I were 20, building my MX, living at home with my parents, I'd been dam busy too.

Well, I guess since he painted and installed my hatch garmish and said it flew off, that it's my fault. I mean, I did send it to him 8 months ago, and that's wrong.

I'm a criminal, as he stated. I guess my punishment is not receiving his GS spoiler or my hatch garmish back and restitution with be the shipping cost of the hatch garmish I spent already.

I only hope Mx3man83 and god will forgive me for my sins and everyone on this board won't hold Mx3man83 responsible and give him a bad reputation.

Well, it's almost the 1 year anniversary of our deal. I never got his GS spoiler, my hatch garmish, or compensation back from are so called deal.

Buyer beware, this can happen to you.

Don't ya just love people like that? I mean on ebay yes. But we try and trust are little circle of mx-3 friends. But I guess we can't even do that. Its a shame...

I think I've been shafted more times than not buying stuff on here. But now that I know the FTC can bust *** for jipping people over the internet, at lease I know now that I can bring the government down on thier *** .

I really don't care about this board's reaction, since I'm basically done with mx-3.com, however just to show you all...take a look at his hatch garnish he sent me..

I mean lack thereof...since he sent it to me broken and it flew off.

Oh, and I'm not a 20 year old living with my parents building my MX-3. 21 year old living on my own going to college full time and working.

Whether it was broken or not. It was good enough for you to paint it, and put it on, before this so called flew off thing happened.

Hmm, why would someone try to install a broken hatch garmish ? o.0 LOL at least fiber glass the bottom sheesh. Also..why didnt you just get a junk yard one? wouldnt it have been better? I would never do a trade like this LOL just hope he never pays you a visit hehe

the thing i still dont get.. is when it flew off your car, did you leave it on the side of the road? cuz if you picked it back up, couldnt u of just sent it back to 2fazed? if it was damaged, i woulda returned it.. unless of course you threw it out. in that case i understand why you havnt sent it back

How are you going to pick it back up if you don't notice it's gone until you arrive at your destination that started 30 miles ago?

To guy that asked why I put it on anyway, and why didn't I fiberglass the bottom? Well, I put it on because I did fiberglass one of the broken mounts. If you have ever seen the bottom of a hatch garnish you will see at each end there are are two large mounts. One of those was broke clear off, and when I recieved it they were taped on. How convenient? However, it wasn't just that end mount that was broke, it was the other mounts as well. There are two little prong like deals that you slide the mounting hardware into. They were broken. It would not accept the mounting hardware. I did my best to try and rig it to work using different washers, bolts, etc., however it was too far broken.
The comment about hope he never pays me a visit? That is so childish. Anyone that would "pay a visit" over a deal that he soured in the first place is a moron. Besides, I'd really like to see him "pay me a visit".

Just one more thing...if you all look really closely at the picture, you will see three shiny things on the top of the hatch where the garnish is suppose to go. That is the mounting hardware. My job of securing the hardware held just fine, however the the mouning points that were broken slid right over the mounting hardware. I'm done though, see you all later.
