Had a deal to trade hatch garnish for gs spoiler, he sent me a broken hatch garnish with no mounting hardware. Take that back, he sent me two screws and they were taped onto two mounting points for the hatch garnish. It just so happened that those two screws were taped onto the mounting points so "wouldnt be lost", however when the tape was removed, the two mounting points just happened to be broken! This is a threatening email sent to me from him...not only will this be posted here but the approiate authorities will see and investigate it as well....

Out of this transaction, I've gotton nothing, plus out the shipping cost. Do you think I would buy from you? So, you are off the hook, I don't expect anything from you. When I go visit my family in Tucson, I'm going to pay your car a visit, and we'll see if it will be driveable. Then we'll be even. PAYBACK'S A *****!

Yeah, that's why dozens of people on this site who's dealt with me, only have positive things to say about our transactions. Not one negative. Let the forum decide who's untrustworthy. Oh, how's my hatchgarmish? Thief!

It definitely is a threat. That is what he sent me. He also sent more emails saying that local authorities cant touch him. Guess he's some sort of tough guy. We will see. Nowadays police don't take internet threats lightly, it will get investigated. If anything happens to my car, I guarantee you will not get away with it.

No problem Jeff. I wish we could work it out, but he won't. He wants me to pay for his spoiler now. All he had to do was return my hatch garmish in the first place, and none of this 7 month transaction would of happened.

What am I mad about? I am mad about some guy on the internet threatening me. I am mad about spending time trying to fix a broken hatch garnish, only to have it fly off the back of my car because two of the mounting points were broken. I am mad because I am going to have to find a new hatch garnish and then pay more money to get it painted. I am mad because I have an mx-3 with a new body kit installed, new rims, and a brand new paint job with a section in the back with exposed unpainted black metal that looks like garbage.

sorry to cut in, but why did you paint and install it on your car if you thought it was damaged?

I had it painted because my whole car was getting painted. I installed it because there were 4 properly working mounting points. I thought there may be a chance of it still mounting up ok. Also, What I did for mounting screws was purchased some washers, screws and bolts. The washers slipped right through the mounting points that were broken, leaving the garnish being attached to only four points. This was obviously not enough at freeway speeds, so the piece of junk flew off. If I had recieved a hatch garnish with all mounting points unbroken, I wouldn't have had this problem.
I can actually provide pictures of what is left over of the mounting points(they are still attached to my car).

This won't be worked out. He's made it clear that he's not sending me his GS Spoiler. If I want it, I have to pay $50 for it. And I'm already out a Hatch Garmish. I'm not dealing with this scammer again.
