MX-3 Chat Forum

Post by Guest »

you know, a chat room would be alright, and i know you are against street racing, yadda yadda yadda, but go to DSMtalk.com, and they have a forum just for talkin about street racing stories, just put a little disclaimer underneath saying you are not responsible for any actions or stories....
(Please give an appropriate subject when you post a new topic. I have renamed this topic from "hgfhtvcx" to the current one for you. - MX-3.com
[ February 05, 2003: Message edited by: MX-3.com ]

i think its better not having a forum for street racing, it makes the UBB look better, and makes mx-3 drivers seem more responsible

in a normal world it would be nice to have a chatroom. However not to diss the mx-3 community any, I love it to does, there are a few immature people. And this would open up a live place for them to talk and voice stuff they shouldnt. If any of you have been on chatrooms lately ( i havent in atleast a year (mirc) ) then you know what im saying. Maybe a MIRC chatroom with a bot that would be abel to monitor whats going on, dunno how all that works costs wise though.. Regardless I love this site, and visit multiple times a day for the past 3 years with a member number under 100 im proud :)

Jeff and I have been discussing it for a while now. Problem is, if we put up a chat, most wont visit it, or those who do wont post. We had a chat on the mx-3 email list, noone ever used it.

grr coulda swore I was 97, god darnit haha...shows how much I actually look at that. I never thought about people not posting, information and posting is at an all itme slow right now, even with new bodykits and ideas poping up weekly. I think a chat room would deter people from posting, good idea...
On another note, are you guys always on? im suprised at how quick you replied ot my post, only a few minutes, maybe its just luck

I think we should just stick to the forums. Why? It's all on file and you can simply search things you're interested in. If we had chat, then there is no documentation and n00bs can't search on topics of interested. lol, i hope you got that  ...
