What the new mx should be

Heres what designers (a group of women ) at volvo came up with for a prototype. Damm! this is kick *** looks like a modernized mx-3 , gullwing doors too. Now if mazda would fire the chumps they have now an start making cars ( not including miata & rx ) instead of ugly 4 doors an prototypes that looklike something fatbastard from the austin powers movies would drive.

Actually the mazda 6 and the mazda 3 are nice looking cars.
That car is ugly. Flowers on the seats? WTf is up w. that floormat. You try NOT to get dirt in your car, not scrub the mud off of them while your driving. Looks like they tried to copy the new mustang as far as outside body design.

Agreed, the car is FUGLY.
Its been out for a few months-- and I didnt like it the first time or now.

I agree, but if they came in 2 door then I would buy one.TO me 4 doors is just one steep away from a stationwagon. Ya dont evin want to know what I think of minivans (Rant!Rant!Rant) LOL
Ya the interior is pretty /\/@ up, I'd take a rototiller to that.
I like the looks of it alot better than that great pumpkinmobile mazda prototype.

Mazda wasnt trying to get into the sport compact market really, they are looking to make a spacious car thats fun to drive.
For example, you can race, and still take the kids to the ball game in it. Mazda has a compact sports coupe, its called the miata.. oh and dont forget the RX-7.

I actually would call the Rx-8 a sport compact...it has 4 doors and a back seat. But it still looks pimp

I think the new Scion tC has a bit of a MX3 feel to it. Nice flowing body, fairly simular back window. To bad there is such a gap between the doors and the back wheel elsewise it would look really simular.
Doubt it drives as nice, but I find myself hard pressed to find any car that does.

ya the Tc is nice. at least they now make 1 good looking car other than that cardboard box of an suv thing they make.

Most companies seem to be making a bunch of crap cars, and then 1 or 2 nices ones... This company just makes a smaller amount of everything.

I watched International auto show and they presented that car, its fugly, one of the shittiest car designs there was.

Do you know what is wrong with the mazda mx-3....
as apposed to the mazda3 or mazda6..hell even the miata or rx8....
the market is to small to make a good sized profit.
like it says "people want to have fun driving and take their kids around....when the mx-3 was marketed it was a 4 adult passenger coupe...ok...fill that car up with 4 people and see how fast your 1.8L v6 can go.....shrug...
