Hi all.

This is my first post, but I use to write in www.3si.org.

My problem is that I have a Mx3 1.6 ATX, and the atx works well, until the car reaches the normal temperature. When this happen, the Hold light begins to blink and the atx gets slippy. I changed the atx oil and filter and no improvements.

I think it's time to change-rebuilt the atx, and I would like to know it the atx of a '92-93 Mazda 626 could work with my car.

Thanks in advance for your help.

Alex.

Personally I'm not 100% certain, but I am quite sure the 626 tranny will not work.

Before you dive in, pull one of your factory cooler lines off and run the engine for a second or two, and see if you are getting any flow. If not, cure that problem first.

This could be a temp sensor problem. I dont have access to a factory manual anymore, cant really help beyond this.

I took the factory cooler lines, and no flow goes in them. I think maybe the oil pump is burned or perhaps the shaft doesn't move the oil pump.

I'll take a look at the oil pump and see what is happening.

Regards.
