Which ones will fit?

Yesterday i drove my car (92' mx-3 1.6L auto) all around all day city and highway... got home and parked it... about 4 hours later i tried to leave again and when i put it into reverse it was like i was still in park! same with drive... it did not show any sign of it going out all day... i had the motor mounts changed in the same morning and even the mechanic said it seemed strong! anyway i have not checked anything yet, but it is probably shot so does anybody know which transmissions will fit? will one from a 92' miata 1.6L work?? anyway thanks for anything....

The answer is no-- Miata's are rear wheel drive.
