When I crank the car and put it in Drive, it will not move but the RPMs go up. It also tries to pull a little in Neutral. What is this problem?

Sounds like your tranny is done. When I blew up my manual tranny it still moved in neutral just like it was in first.

It could be that or the posistion sensor is screwed and it doesn't know if it's in gear or not etc. Can't think of the particular name of the sensor right now, but a shop should know how to adjust/check it. When my tranny went, it was dead in all gears, till it slammed into gear and shot spider gears clear out of the case, hahahhaha. (don't revv it, if it's not goin, it's not goin till somthin is fixed, haha)

Is your tranny light blinking? That would eliminate it from being a sensor. Unfortunately, your symptoms sound like mine when my last auto went. First, check to see if your HOLD button is blinking. Then check to make sure you have fluid and check the coloring etc. If no hold light and fluid is present your tranny is gone.

This happened to me not long ago, needed to rebuild transmission.
BUT, someody posted on here that spraying WD40 on a certain bolt could free up the transmision (as long as you havn't driven in this condition too much and broken the clutch).
Try a search of this particular forum for 'white bolt'.
