Alriiight folks...
To add to the amount of issues i've had/have with my car... heres another one to add to the pile.
Tonight, im on my way out and i start my car, and it starts at like 2000 rpm, and i put it into reverse withouth giving it much warm up time.. like 20 seconds maybe.. and when i put it into reverse.. it DIED. flat out.. just stopped.
So, i tried again, put it back into park, started it.. this time it took so much for me to even start the car- had to reve the engine a few times to get it to catch. But then it was ok and ran fine all the way to second cup. Then when im done i come back out to my car i get in.. start it... put it into reverse...it dies again. it did this another time before i finally got it to go. Does ANYONE have any idea what this could be?
Bare in mind i just got a new transmission put in so i dont know how it could be that.
Unless i got scammed in which case i will be so mad! Any suggestions or input on what may have caused this, strange occurance, would be so helpful to me.
Im like a worried mother right now about her sick baby!! :(

You really should let the car warm up for like at least 5 minutes in the cold, even in the summer i'll let it warm up for a couple minutes but in the winter especially if you don't let it warm up then it is going to run like sh*t at first.
If its super cold out and you just put it in to gear all the tranny fluid is probably still sludge from the cold so its going to shift hard and is over all bad for your tranny.
Just give the car some time to warm up and you should be fine.

You definitely have a problem somewhere, and you only need 20 to 30 seconds to warm up before putting it into drive. (even in this cold). I can go without any trouble after 10 to 20 seconds of warm-up and I have 349,900 km on my engine.
(Idle should go to between 1500 and 2000 rpm on cold start-up),normal.
Have the linkages checked on the transmission where you got it done.

My tranny is fine.
Sure I can go after 20-30 seconds of warming it up but I wouldn't recommend that, it won't shift well at first until it warms up a little more.
If you want to prolong your auto tranny life then just be patient and let it warm up for a couple minutes.
