getting my axles back in

any one out there know how to get the axles back in after a ATX to MTX swap. I had to make the swap after my ATX quit. I got the pedals in and everything done but I have not done any changes to make up for the ATX to MTX swap in the computer yet. I can not get the axles back in and stay because of the clips.
