Well some of you know that I was planning on selling the beast but I have decided not too I love her too much plus all the girls tell me my car is too sweet to get rid of her so I will be spending some money fixing her up and doing a few more mods :D
here is what is planed in the next few weeks-months:
sparco replca seats (before TDW 3)
CF hood inverted
ACT clutch so I can break the high 12's
18" wheels
altezza painted to match my car (instead of chrome)
plus fixing the MS front bumper
anything else I should do let me know what you think<p>Sean

I replaced my regular headlights with Xenon white w/blue undertone. It makes it look a lot meaner at night, plus is a LOT better to see with.<p>Cost me $30 for the bulbs@overdrive.

if you order stuff of the us let me know. I got this great place in blaine and they its not a "po" box, they change you $10 and year and $2 for every package you get. it will save you on shipping and customs. I just order and act cltuch and alum flywheel. you should dress up the engine. polished the cover....stuff like that.

I can do it cheaper if I need parts from the US...<p>my GF lives in seattle. and I see her about every 2-3 weeks. :) <p>I am thinking the next things I am doing to my car are CD Player, possibly new front speakers, new exhaust tip (because it looks cool), and if there is a sports air intake filter for the MX-3.<p>I liked the fact that I was heading up a hill and not only did I accellerate fast, I ended up hitting 90 kms in 3rd before switching to 4th..without redlining.<p>Gotta love V6s in small cars :) (and rotary engines... for the same things [my last car was an '85 RX-7])<p>Actually, one thing you could tell me is what are good shops in vancouver to take care of an MX-3. You know the type...reliable, not gonna charge you for stuff that doesn't need doing, that knows the car well, and knows where to find performance parts.<p>And here I edit it again..wow... I intent to take a couple pics of my car this coming weekend with my digicam. I'll post 'em here once I do (gonna try for a couple day shots and a couple night shots)<p>[ August 20, 2003: Message edited by: RoundTop ]</p>

Sean, I think that you should turbocharge it. Just kidding. May be finally fix all the squeaks and rattles. I am glad you are keeping her. It would be a shame to see so much work and passion be wrapped around a pole by some kid that might have bought it. You know, crazy gas is a dangerous thing.

Cost me $30 for the bulbs@overdrive.
<hr></blockquote><p>I would say that Philips premium is a better choice and cheaper, considering the wattage is same.

These are in UK, so you are sure to get proper E-code bulbs. The best ones are Philips Vision Plus or Osram Silverstar (E-code only, not the blue coated Sylvania Silverstar for US). Philips Vision Plus and Osram Silverstar are offered only in H1/H4/H7 formats, so if you have DOT headlights, you are out of luck.

If you run stock DOT headlights, then look here:

they are in California.
But If I were you, I would just go to my local Wal-Mart and pick up a set of Philips Premium/Hi-Visibility bulbs. Be cheaper and more effective.

Sean, what seats you are getting? Also, are you getting the sliders and brackets with them specifically for Mx-3 or you will retrofit your stock ones onto the new seats? As far as I know only Corbeau makes brackets and sliders that will fit Ford Escort/323, and possibly Mx-3.
