last night we went drag raceing on the 1/8 mile. i was runing worse than ever. so i only made 2 passes the first was
rt- .502
60ft-2.534
mph-66.47
et- 10.675
the second pass was a little better et

rt - .764
60ft-2.466
mph-66.47
et-10.538
in the first pass i was against a older cavalier. i won by almost 2 sec. the next time i was against a older honda civic. i even iced down my IM. nothing i did as in new mods helped. i was over half a sec. slower than when i started. the only thing i can think of is my clutch is going out.

Ive ran 10.814 in my K8 powered mx. I think you might be loosin some power somewhere. All i have is intake and exhaust. With full interier sub amp spare tire everything.

well, i think it has to be my clutch. the throw out bearing is starting to make noise. i have a new one in my spare bed room. along with all my turbo parts and ported ze heads. i think when i get those heads and clutch in i will go back before i do the turbo just to see what it will do then. i'm putting the heads on this week.

My brothers mx3 runs a 10.6 on the 1/8th he has a intake and just dropped the exsaust while playing aroudnt though.

Be sure to check that your VRIS is properly functioning and that your tps is properly adjusted. Both of these can make a big diffrence

well my throw out bearing is makeing noise so i think that might have been part of it. i am just hopeing the clutch holds up to a 1400 mile drive this week.(700 one way 700 back) then i will change the clutch heads everything and go run again. i hope this hurricane doesnt do much so i can go home this sunday. when and if i do leave i am going to take my clutch with me. i am looking forward to going to the strip when i get it all done and back together soon.
