Ran the GSR (mx3) at cayuga in the cscs event on sunday. aside from the nasty wheel hop I was getting that broke my axle on the 4th run, letting my friend drive. I think there is going to be some potential for my project sleeper.

Here was my best time.

60ft 2.279
1/4 et 14.57 @ 97.07mph

So far my mods are. KLZE with ECU, MSD digital 6, high flow cat and K&N filter on stock intake pipe. I also made custom motor mounts to make the long neck ZE manifold work on the car.

I have an S-AFC in the car now and will hopefully get to the dyno soon to tune it and get back to the track with some new tires to help with the wheel hop.

This car is my winter beater and has less than $5000 bucks in it including the cost of the car. My goal is to make it go as fast as possible on as little money as possible all motor. P.S. The car still has stock exhaust. Sounds and looks stock.

Nice winter beater :)

Sucks that you broke an axle. I think mine are on the way out for sure.

What is a STT ZE Intake Manifold? Any benefits over one from a Millenia, or will it even fit in an Mx-3?

Ya I am fimilar with streetthismx6. He and battled for top all motor spot all year last year. I belive he ran 13.524@100mph with 196whp. In my 6 I (1sickmx6 user name on mx6.com) I ran 13.511@98mph and 12.7@109mph on a 45 shot. What I learned from my 6 is that you don't need a tone of money to go fast on a stock ze. Now as for the 6 now. In about two months it will be running on 13.5:1 cmp and a haltech standalone ems. I am shooting for 220whp. My ZE setup had 185whp and 230 on the 45 shot.

Any one up for st thomas tonight?

Later 1sick!
