modified racing harnesses, have ?

i had to use some longer straps so that i can bolt the y-section of my 5-pt. harness to the back. i used a longer harness strap with the same color so that it could reach (the second harness i got had a differently designed and length y-belt, so it didn't match my first harness). this harness that i modified was for the PS side and wanted to know if there was anywhere that tested harnesses for safety that i could ship my harness to. I want to be sure the modified harness is safe enough for my brother when we take out the mx-3 every now and then.
