so, how exactly does "test and tune" work. I've never been, but plan on going this spring/summer.

at cayuaga you pay to race, go to tech inspection, they will check for proper nitrous install, oil leaks, coolant leaks, ect...

if your car is ok, then you race as much as you want, there are no orders, or brackest, just get in line with your car and try your best as many time as you can.

you "tune" your car, then "test" it with a run, then you "tune" to try to do better, the "test" again.

I like ST.thomas better, cause the summer that I went there were no tech inspections, the lines were shorter, and the people working there were more laid back and flexable.

i agree the guys at cayuga are *****es " water is for slicks, get out of the water" who gives a f*ck.

there is also no air and don't bother asking the guys with trailers because their air is almost all gone. if it is good i am going to bring the 7 down for some phat 15's

sorry kurt but your sig. had me in suspence, i was wondering if it was this year that the 13.5's were on the way :D

Due to my schedual, i won't be able to go until they open "Fast and Furious Fridays". But i'm definitely going this year, and hope to see other mx'ers there as well. Its my goal to beat bonestockkid's super-DE this year! :D I've never been to a "Test and Tune" day, but my guess that F&F Friday is a Mix between Test and Tune and some schedualed racing.

Basically when i was going on F&F Fridays, you would drive in and pay $20 (even, it incl tax), spectators pay $10 each. You drag (Test if you will) unlimited from 7pm to 11pm. You can come right off the track and get back in line or you pull to the side and "tune" your car.

One thing i suggest is bring water to drink, while waiting in line, the exaust from the cars was making my throat dry.

The only 2 things that bugged me is not being aloud to to water burnouts and why are your not aloud to ice the IM?

YAH, Id forgot about the air.

Cayuga doesnt have an air pump or hose to put air in your tires.

if you run slicks or drag radials, or any tire for that matter, you always want to try different pressures to get you beast times. but they dont have any way for you to fill you tires. :(

thats crapp.

also if you dont have slicks you cant do a burn out in the water box. :(

If you put ice on your intake manifold to cool it, you can have any water left over dripping from your car, this way it keeps the track dry.

ST.thomas has a free air hose for filling your tires, ANYONE can burn out in the water, and they never had a problem with MY melted Ice dripping
from my engine.

and it was only $15.00 for the night at ST.thomas insted of $20 at cayuga.

yes F&F firdays are the same as test and tune SAT and SUN, they just call F&F to get the kids there.

P.S. your times will be better durring the days (usually) because the track cools too much after the sun sets. (remember we are in canada)

o-yah, Im ordering my clutch tomorrow, and I did a quick 1/4 calculation.

If I use my 75 shot of ZEX, and let somone that knows what they are doing drive, then my car will run in the 13.5 range. :) hehe

K, well I asked and the seller wants $45.00 USD for shipping, so the total would be $345.00 USD shipped.

Am I getting ripped? or did you buy from a different guy?, or did you pay more than 300?

I see alot of people have gotten the clutch for 300 shipped and I would as well but I cant see any seller shipping to canada for free? whats up?
