I am an air/fuel gauge and need to know where to find the oxygen sensor. Can someone help me find it and how hard is it to install this gauge?

Your a Air/Fuel Guage? Wow man... Thats cool u must be pretty advanced :D

The 02 sensors are located on the front and rear downpipes. Open ur hood, look at the exhaust manifold, look down, and u will see some wires going to the downpipes. That is your 02 sensor.

I think if u want an accurate reading u want a wideband O2 sensor.

what is the wideband o2 sensor? How far down the manifold is it and do you know how many wires there are? (1.8/v6)?

ok go on the passanger side of your car
remove the little plastic under the dash behind you stereo
now you should see the ecu
3 main pins should enter the ecu
you want to tap into the middle one

if you look at the pin on the wire side (looking as if the pin was plugged in the ecu) you should see somthing like that
------====-------
|1|2|3|4|5|6|7|8|
|9|A|B|C|D|E|F|G|
-----------------

the digits and letters represent each a wire...
number 7 and F represents both 02 sensors..
choose the one you want
IIRC when I tap it number 8 was empty..

good luck
