My work in progress

Hey guys,
I don't know how to post pics in here so here is a link to my yahoo photo album. http://photos.yahoo.com/rsrgtx She's a work in progress as I said so she's always changing. The motor is a B6T and really wasn't all that complicated to swap in. The pics at the drag strip were just last week, it was the first time I've taken her to the drags. My reaction times were pitiful and I was trying to tune and work on how to launch without tearing anything up. I'm thinking about going back this week on Thursday again to try out some different settings. She ran low tens which was faster than more than half the field of Honda's that were there. I've still got a long way to go tuning wise before she's 100%. And the paint is last on my list right now, besides it's more embarrassing to beat someone with a cheap looking car. I'll try to get some pics of her out on the road course I run at soon, if the rain ever stops long enough.
Chris

not that i don't believe you....but would you happen to have some timeslips for these runs? to run low tens on bad reaction times is pretty impressive. also, what mods do you have done to your b6t to enable these times? keep up the good work.

low 10's!!!! plan on having a full rollcage before going back because if you did run a 10 you won't be allowed back untill you have a roll cage.

Sorry guys that's at a 1/8th mile track. I only wish she would tens in the quarter, then it wouldn't take five laps to run down a C5 on the road course. The gearing and the 17's don't really help on the drag strip but they work extremely well on a road course. I just bought a set of Hoosier DOT slicks for road race use, but I've got to get a set of 15's to put them on. I run my car at a place called Motorsport Ranch that has a 1.7 mile road course, and that's where she really runs good. It's a blast when the Porsche club guys are there and they can't believe that an MX3 can hang with most of them. My favorite part is when they ask what size motor I'm running and I tell them it's just a 1.6! The look on their face is worth it all. Talk to you guys later.
Chris

That's amazing, low 10s. I was wonder how much it cost (aprrox) for the single wiper ? I like that alot but I heard that it's really easy for them to break .
