It MIGHT be possible to swap over the hubs, brakes etc. from a Probe, MX-6 or 626. I would also guess that you'll need either custom axles, or some combination of MX-3/MX-6 axle parts.

I was looking at doing it to get the bigger brakes from the MX-6, though - it seems like it would be a heck of a lot of work to go through just to fit some wheels. There are TONS of wheels available with our bolt pattern and offset...

If anyone has tried this or, even better, done it successfully, let us know! Otherwise, I might be attempting it next summer...

Theres a german company of wheelspacers that produces a line witch can alter every lug-combination to every other lug-combination but they need two spacers to do so witch gives quite an offset,so to do so you will need rims with a quite low Et or your rims wil stick out from the car :(

I can however not remember the Brandname right now,but they do have a online website ;)

this has been discussed before....recently.

get some hubs off of a 323 GTR or GTae and you'll have 5-lugs.

I really don't see the point though..who cares how many lugs you have?

People care because you can get a lot more nice Rims in 5lug than 4lug because theres not so many 4 x 100mm produced anymore...

Honda Civic is the most popular "tuner" car in the world...and it's 4-lug and probably always will be. The selection of 4-lug wheels is staggering...so I don't believe this topic one bit!

Besides, 4 bolts weighs less than 5. Weight reduction! :D

Sounds pretty backwards to me to spend $1000 or so [just a guess]for some GTR hubs. (IF you can find any-- there were only 1500 made, and they are all overseas-- and most are gone or being loved so you will not find any.) Besides-- who knows what is involved in actually making them fit.

You can get a new set of wheels for $399 delivered from wheelguyz.com or add tires for a complete package price of $799 delivered to your door.

Your "free" wheels wont be free anymore after you send all that $$ fiding and adapting those 5-lug hubs, will they?

stick with the 4 lugs, look around there are tons of good wheels for the 4x100 pattern, I like Rota wheels because they are light weight and look really awesome.
