Finally ordered Ground Controls

There, ordered GC`s today :)
I`m as far as I know one of the first in Europe to buy this.

Gonna do a custom install much like Luc st. Pierre, and weld a custommade ring on the strutbody to center the sleeve.
Also gonna explore the helperspring option, to eliminate the unsettling of the spring from the top hat.

yeah, I was thinking of the same coilovers that sixpack bought, but I I need correct springrates and good dampers.

So I use my Koni adjustables and rebuild them with GC`s

How did the installation go? Was it hard? Thinking of buying GCs... Or is there any other that is easier to install? Do I need anything else than struts to complete the installation?

I havent installed them yet. waiting for spring.
I`m doing this the right way the first time, and that includes welding metal-rings onto the struts to keep it aligned and safe, helpersprings, to keep the strut preloaded.

I`ll do this the same time I install my SRD front control arm bushings.

Thanks :)

For the non-believers out there, just wait and se :)
I`m getting a rollcage installed next month it seems, along with 4-point harness, new steeringwheel with snapoff, also got a set of projectors on the way, thermoblok spacers have already arrived etc.

I got Hyperco helpersprings aswell, and my Koni struts are at a Koni specialist getting some luv :D
revalved and rebuilt (matched to the GC`s), and shortened rod to complement the lowering.

Rollcage is being installed now along with 4-point harness etc.
lots of stuff happening now :D
Also got Mazdaspeed upper strut mounts.
I`ll post some more as the stuff gets installed :)
